Micah 6:8 (ESV) – He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?
When we walk with the Lord in the land of the living,
We are blessed if we trust in Him there,
For no shadows can cast on our will to be holy,
When exposed in the light of His care.
When we walk with the Lord in the land of the living,
We must ever acknowledge by faith,
That though eyes may not see Him, nor ears may not hear Him,
He will guide us with mercy and grace.
When we walk with the Lord in the land of the living,
We feel safe by the strength of His love,
And no evils against us, nor our spirits forlorn,
Can usurp His authority above.
When we walk with the Lord in the land of the living,
We trust He remains in control,
For when life is a struggle and death seem a friend,
His Truth in our hearts will console.
When we walk with the Lord in the land of the living,
Rest assured that one day you will see,
That the life we have lived in the trials of our faith,
Will ascend to His blessed victory!
